For many good reasons, Educational/Examination boards and Institutions all over the world are fast adopting the computer-based approach of conducting examnations, tests and quizzes; commonly referred to as Computer-based Testing or CBT in short.
In ASIAZ NPS, the CBT Exams is fully adopted mainly for its Primary 4 and 5 pupils.
At the upper end, many companies are already adopting the same approach for their job interview/screening exercises.
The wisdom beyond this online examination is that our pupils should have, at least, some foundational knowledge of how to use such computer applications to be able to participate in forthcoming examinations.
In order to prepare our pupils for these, we shall be having CBT Training Sessions for our students. In addition, a CBT Practice Module has been made available on our pupils portal to provide hands-on CBT practicals for our pupils. They can practice even from home (provided an internet enabled computer, tablet or smartphone).
Also, we shall be adopting the computer-based examination approach for our school's termly examinations.
